Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo has just concluded with the launch of its second smartphone this year, the Y55s. The handset which is priced at Rs. 12,490 is said to be made available in Crown Gold and Space Grey colour options.
According to one report, the company discloses that the new Vivo Y55s device is an upgraded version of the Vivo Y55L that was unveiled last year. The new Y55s comes with bigger-sized RAM and a bigger battery.
In line with specs, the Vivo Y55s smartphone sports a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and comes with a 2.5D curved edge screen. The handset is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz equipped with 3GB of RAM.
The Vivo Y55L handset, on the other hand, was powered by Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device ran on the company’s Funtouch OS 3.0 customised on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone also bears 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Vivo Y55s also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The 4G-enabled smartphone also packs a 2730mAh battery compared to the Vivo Y55L that came with a smaller 2650mAh battery.
One of main highlights of the Vivo Y55s device is its Smart Screen-Split feature that simply allows a user to multi-task and run two apps simultaneously.
Separately, Chinese smartphone makers, Vivo, has reportedly promised its consumers, of the company’s effort to continue to manufacture innovative smartphone devices.
