After all the buzz and hassle, the UMi Max was finally officially released this past August 5 at an attractive price of $169.99. Having produced solid phones like the UMi iron and UMi Super, the UMi Max is the latest to in the company’s line of flagship devices.
The UMi Max is a “high-end phone meant for people with an exclusive taste” according to the management. It also targets gamers playing high-end application, and not only that, it can be used to complete work on the go which has made the company placing the UMi Max smartphone against the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
The device is extremely powerful, but the Note 7 is much more powerful and the price is about 5 times more than the UMi Max.
The UMi Max offers the same high-quality components like its predecessors, exception to the RAM having been reduced from 4GB to 3GB and the internal storage that reduced from 32GB to 16GB. It also supports an expandable storage of up to 256GB via its microSD slot. The memory space allocated to the microSD is amazing as you can store a lifetime’s worth of pictures, videos, apps and games, and other data on the phone without having to worry about the storage.
A rundown of the specs besides the RAM and ROM include a 5.5” Sharp Sunlight Screen and a MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor; the visual aspect is 5MP front + 13MP Panasonic back camera powered by a 4,000mAh Sony Battery. It sport a fast fingerprint sensor of 0.1-0.3s and a USB TYPE-C interface, also, HiFi audio + 7-colour breathing light on the home button (Halo).
The UMi Max flaunts a Pure Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and will be available in Gunmetal and Bling Gold colour options. The “Discounted” in the title indicates that the phone is available for a lesser price of $139.99 which can be seen on the UMi online store.
