Top 10 New Free Android Games to Download (April 2015)

Hey guys! We know we’ve not been publishing a lot of posts about new games, so here’s a quick roundup of the top 10 new free Android games (for April – May 2015) which you should download and try.

As always, we’ve picked out a variety of games that have been recommended by our team and this list should cater to all our readers. If you have any suggestions of your own, please feel free to contact us via the comments section or our contact form.

#1. Implosion – Never Lose Hope

We’re going to begin by recommending Implosion – Never Lose Hope, which is now available on Android for free, well, with a little twist. You get to play the first few levels completely free, and if you like the game (which you probably will), you can unlock the rest via an in-app purchase.

If you’ve played games like Devil May Cry and Darksiders, you’re in for an awesome surprise with Implosion, which features console quality graphics (almost) and holly-wood grade audio production. In terms of quality, it doesn’t get much better than Implosion. If you don’t believe us, check out the trailer below.

#2. Criminal Case

The popular Facebook game is now available on Android as well and puts you in the role of a Grimsborough police officer incharge of investigating a series of murders.

At the heart of it, Criminal Case is another hidden objects game, but it is well executed and doesn’t particularly push in-app purchases. The graphics are mainly static with some animations here and there and you have to essentially inspect crime scenes, collect evidence and interrogate witnesses/suspects. The game also has a social element, where you can compete with your friends who also play the game.

#3. Mortal Kombat X

One of the most popular video game franchises, Mortal Kombat is now available for free on Android. Mortal Kombat X isn’t the console version and you get new, high-definition graphics with all the moves and fatalities you’ve come to love.

The game is developed by Warner Bros, who also gave us other great brawlers like WWE Immortals and Injustice: God’s Among Us.

#4. EA SPORTS UFC

If you’re a UFC fan, you have to download and try EA Sports UFC on your tablet or phone. The game features your favorite UFC fighters battling it out in the octagon.

EA Sports have taken care to improve the touch controls alongside working on high quality graphics. You can start your own UFC career by picking a fighter and working your way up. The game will require a high-end tablet or phone with a dedicated GPU unit however. Moreover, you can’t play the game without a network connection, so only download it if you can meet the minimum requirements.

#6. Archery Master 3D

Not your typical arcade or action game, Archery Master 3D still manages to surprise us with the realistic challenge it offers. The game is basically an archery simulation which can be difficult and quite frustrating at times.

Moreover, earning coins for upgrades can be a tiring task. Yet, the game delivers with decent graphics and variety with over a 100 levels and more than a dozen pieces of archery equipment to look forward to. If you want to try something different, we recommend you download Archery Master 3D for Android.

#7. DomiNations

If you’re a Civilizations fan but didn’t get the $10 Android game, you can make do with DomiNations, which is designed by Brian Reynolds, the guy behind Civilization II and Rise of Nations.

This strategy game should be familiar to fans of the genre and there isn’t a lot that’s new here (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing). You get to lead your nation from the stone age to the space age, intact, as you battle rivals and make alliances to become one of the most powerful rulers in the world.

#10. Does not Commute

A simple, free, strategic driving game for Android, Does not Commute brings a unique experience as you drive through a 1970s town, dodging traffic and unveiling secrets that may give you answers to what’s happening.

The game is free and has no ads, but you will need to play the whole game in one go because checkpoints are only allowed in the premium upgrade, which is available via an in-app purchase. Nevertheless, it’s a fun little game that you can try if you think you are skilled enough to finish it.
