Over the last couple of years, Huawei has not relented in its efforts to compete effectively with other mobile giants such as Apple and Samsung. Thus, making the company to infiltrate the market with several notable devices and one that has caught our attention is the Huawei Maya.
The new mysterious smartphone follows a long list of other Huawei-made flagships to have made their way to benchmarking site Geekbench. The device is modelled as Huawei MYA-L03, and it displays the 658 points in single core and 1,815 points in the multi-core.
The smartphone is already been compared to the MYA-L23 certificated by US FCC by the end of last year which is a dual SIM card version. A literal image of the device was shown on the website sporting a single camera with dual LED flash and has support for LTE bands 2, 4, 5 and 7; powered by a sizeable battery of 2920mAh battery.
The Huawei Maya is a low mid-range phone with competitive specs, as it runs smoothly on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box coupled with a MediaTek MT6737T Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.44GHz.
Down to the memory department, the device will be housed by a 2GB RAM whilst other information about this budget phone still remains in the dark, and if it is to your interest, it seems to you might not shell out a lot of money to get your hands on it.
According to unpopular sources, the Maya device is said to be exclusive to a US carrier network and the price is lower than the Huawei Honor 6X at 150usd. It seems as though there is no iota of accuracy in this information, but we ensure to update you whenever we hear something worthwhile.
