Word with regards to a new Snapdragon 835 powered smartphone from the makes of Nubia has been up and about for the past few weeks now. This smartphone has been believed to be the upcoming Nubia Z17 and further buttressing this claim is its passage through the Chinese Certification Website, TENAA.
The specs listed for this handset are identical to those we covered on the benchmarks carried out by GeekBench and AnTuTu on what we believed to the Nubia Z17. Therefore it is quite hard to deduce that one manufacturer will be dishing out two identical handsets at once except we might just be looking at different variants of the same device.
Design-wise, the device is quite impressive as it makes use of top class craftsmanship, given it a well-deserved and outlined flagship look. This look is complemented by the presence of a bezel-less 5.5 inch touchscreen display which has a red circle below it and the traditional selfie camera above it.
This niche screen is fueled by a 3100mAh battery pack which should keep your piston fingers thumping for many hours. Under the hood is an underclocked Snapdragon 835 processor running at a speed of 1.9GHz.
This SoC is coupled up with two memory variants that include a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. As of now, we only know that this handset will go official in two colors which include gold and silver but we are quite sure that this amount will increase later on.
As it has made its way through TENAA, it is just a short period of time before we see it hit the go live and hit the market.
