The Remix 10+, an Android based mini PC has been added to Jide’s Android based operating system capable hardware lineup. This device is set to ship in May 2017 and a pledge for $129 can be made for reservations.
If you’re one of those not expecting much from the Remix 10, the new Remix10+ would leave you surprised because it comes with better features, such as twice the Ram of Remix 10, twice the storage and a faster processor.
The device serves as a television box which lets you play games and stream videos and can also be used as a desktop-style computer which has two USB 2.0 ports, USB 3.0 ports and would be easy to navigate with a remote control because it runs an upcoming version of Remix O.S which is based on Android 7.x Nougat and features a television mode with a user interface
The device will have features of Remix 10 which includes HDMI ports, VGA ports, microSD card slots and the ability to support 4K videos at 60 frames per second.
The Remix 10+ will be coming with several extra features such as a Mali-t864 graphics card, 32GB of storage, four ARM Cortex-A53 cores and Rockchip RK3399 hexa-core processor with two ARM CORTEX-A72 CPU cores and will also have support for Android TV apps and since both the Remix 10 and Remix 10+ won’t be recognized by Google Play you will have to use Aptoide app store to get it or side load it via the various Play Store Alternatives.
You can opt for the Remix 10+ by adding an extra $30 to the originally pledged amount for the original Remix 10 and get the updated hardware when it comes out.
