As the speculation of the OPPO R9 launch continues to drag on after the failed September 12 launch, finally, it has reached our domain that the month of October has been enlisted as the best launch time.
Well, having launched the sold out R9 in March last year, another OPPO smartphones has been on the sell-out catapulting the brand into the top five smartphone OEM in the world.
One stand-out feature from the OPPO R9 is its fast charge, it is hardly surprising that OPPO’s expected R9S is planning to come with even more fast charging capability known as “ultra-fast Super VOOC fast charging technology”. However, the news was confirmed by a leak from China’s Weibo platform.
Apart from the fast charge feature which would give the device the capacity to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes charge time; there will be a camera end, image stabilisation technology powered by a new OPPO SmartSensor.
In addition, the device will feature a special “No Antenna Band” design which will not affect the signal, having witnessed a patent of OPPO’s new device recently and the same could be used on the new flagship.
As for the specs, the OPPO R9S sports a 5.5” panel with 1080 pixel resolution along with Snapdragon 625 chipset as against the Helio P10 on the OPPO R9.
Down to the visual aspect, there is a 16MP front cam shooter for selfies and a back cam of 13MP sensor for videos.
Further, is a dual-SIM/ dual-standby feature with entire network support in China, and fuelled by a respectable battery of 2850mAh.
