OPPO outdid itself again this year with the release of the OPPO R9. This smartphone also turned out to be OPPO best-seller for the year. OPPO was able to sell over 10 million units of the R9 in the past few months.
Now they at it again as they plan to captivate customers with their latest. The latest has been confirmed to be the R9S which will be the successor of the R9 model and also from the look of things, may be launching sooner than originally expected.
According to recent news from China, the R9S will be released on the 12th of September, 2016 (next week Monday). The new handset will be featuring OPPO ultra-fast Super VOOC fast charging technology which was first showcased to us at the MWC Barcelona.
This won’t be the only highlight feature of the R9S because it will also be coming in a “No Antenna Band” design. We had seen a consistent pattern in OPPO new design recently and nothing less of the same could be said on the new device itself.
As for all the specs that will be rolling out with the R9S, it will be coming with a Snapdragon 635 chipset instead of a Helio P10. It will still come out with the same display as its predecessor with the exception of the screen size, it will be coming with a 5.5-inch screen with resolution.
It will feature a lovely 16MP camera at the rear while a 13MP sensor will be mounted in the front. Other probable features may include a 2850mAh battery and a dual SIM capability with dual standby with an entire network support in China.
