Oppo has released a new handset dubbed Oppo A71 (2018), which apparently is the successor to last year’s A71. The handset brings a price tag of Rs. 9,990 and is said to be made available via Flipkart.
Bearing Gold and Black color options, the handset is also expected to go on sale through Amazon and Snapdeal. Launching as an upgrade to the Oppo A71 that unveiled last year, the Oppo A71 (2018) highlights an AI Beauty Recognition feature that the company claim is based on a global image database to decorate the key areas on a face.
Coming to specs, the Oppo A71 (2018), supports dual-SIM (Nano) and runs Android 7.1 Nougat-based ColorOS 3.2. The handset runs a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT display coupled with the 16:9 aspect ratio module.
Sporting a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM speed, the Oppo A71 (2018) comes with 16GB of inbuilt memory that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).
Talking about camera, the handset brings a 13-megapixel sensor equipped with f/2.2 aperture, an LED flash. At the front, it brings a 5-megapixel camera paired with f/2.4 aperture.
In terms of connectivity options, the handset brings 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It brings onboard sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, and a proximity sensor.
The smartphone is fitted with a 3000mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 15 hours of video time. Finally, the mobile device measures 148.1×73.8×7.6mm and weighs 137 grams.
