After launching the OnePlus 5T device that has earned a lot of appreciations from first-time grabbers, OnePlus has now released the handset in another color variant.
Bearing a ‘Lava Red’ color version, the handset has been launched in China alongside the original ‘Midnight Black’ variant that saw a release earlier this month.
Interestingly, OnePlus, not too long ago, revealed a Red-colored OnePlus 3 device to sway buyers looking for bold-color variants.
As of now, the Lava Red version of the OnePlus 5T is currently available on OnePlus’ official China site, tagged with a price of CNY 2,999 which is the same as the that of the ‘Midnight Black’ option.
However, the Lava Red edition of the OnePlus 5T is still yet to be made available to Buy, on the company’s ‘’buy’’ page.
Coming to specs, the handset supports dual-SIM and runs OxygenOS 4.7 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It packs a 6.01-inch full-HD+ (1080×1920 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display panel tagged with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 401ppi pixel density, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It also supports sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts.
Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC, clocked at up to 2.45GHz, coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
In the camera department, the OnePlus 5T comes with a primary a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 primary sensor clubbed with 1.12-micron pixels and an aperture of f/1.7 just like the one that came with the OnePlus 5.
Talking about connectivity options, the OnePlus 5T brings 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz, 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO 2×2, Bluetooth v5.0 with aptX and aptX HD, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port.
The device is backed by a 3300mAh non-removable battery, similar to what we saw on the OnePlus 5. The handset also supports a Dash Charge (5V, 4A) fast charging feature brought by the company. It weighs 162 grams and measures 156.1x75x7.3mm.
