OnePlus 5 has seen plenty of leaks and more rumours about the handset continue to surface as the company just recently affirmed it is busy working on the next flagship handset.
A new report just surfaced online, revealing the key specifications and price of the upcoming OnePlus 5 device leaving little to user’s imaginations. More so, the handset was also said to go on sale starting June 2017, giving loyal consumers a reason to cheer.
According to another report, the OnePlus 5 is expected to be priced at $449, making the device more expensive than the OnePlus 3T, that is priced at $439 in the US.
In line with specs, the handset is expected to come out with a 5.5-inch quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display and will be powered by a 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 quad-core processor, coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB of RAM.
The device is also said to offer 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage as well. On the back of the handset, is a 12-megapixel resolution and dual-camera setup (standard RGB + monochrome).
At the front, the handset is said to roll out with an 8-megapixel sensor and will run on Android N-based Oxygen OS, as well as support Dash Charge 2.0 for fast charging. The handset will pack a fingerprint scanning feature that is rumoured to be situated underneath the Home Button.
The flagship smartphone was affirmed to be in the works earlier this week and some alleged additional specifications of the OnePlus 5 will be an 8GB RAM model, a 256GB storage version, and a 3600mAh battery
