The OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T is well-designed and built in a fabulous manner that has left many waiting to see the next device from OnePlus. From the released images, the OnePlus 3 devices are said to have slightly tilted bumps at the back of the camera.
The camera bumps are virtually not present on all the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T phones, which seem not to be a widespread issue. Nevertheless, some of these devices have more tilts that are evident compared to others.
OnePlus’s tag line “Never Settle” may soon be put to the test. Several OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users have reported that the rear camera bump is slightly crooked and tilted towards the right or left.
Although, users of the device are yet to complain about the tilt effect on the camera. The presence of the asymmetrical camera bump does give an impression that it is a poorly designed device. Soon enough, many surprised OnePlus 3 users will take to various forums to express displeasure at the varying degrees of crookedness.
At first, it was spotted on the newly released OnePlus 3T Colette Edition phone. And to confirm the news, a Reddit user- @hyperjit uploaded the following image to show the camera bump on the limited-edition device that comes with 128GB storage and $479 price mark.
There is no definite pattern to the problem. Some users spotted the tilted rear camera bump only after careful observation while others said that the tilting was quite blatant. The overall consensus is to question the aesthetics and build quality of a $500 flagship smartphone. OnePlus may have to revamp processes in the Quality Check department.
