The whole gist of HMD acquiring the Nokia logo and also issuing Android sets with the brand Q1 has become old news. Still, there are plans of them unveiling these at the MWC this coming February.
However, there has been a rumor that a Nokia flagship might likely be unveiled soon. A leaked Nokia video from weibo shows some interesting specs about the phone.
In the video, intriguing features were displayed, they include: Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 835 chipset, Quad HD display resolution, a beefy 6 GB RAM, and a 23 MP main camera that is said to be coupled with Zeiss lens.
They even went further to claim that these features actually belong to the mysterious Nokia P flagship. This won’t be a surprise as rumors have been picking up pace surrounding an Android powered handset from the timeless smartphone company.
Make of this what you will, but we doubt that this puppy, if real, will be unveiled at the MWC and from most of the leaks so far we expect to see midrange endeavors.
Its normal to see rumors brewing when a new device or flagship is about to be unveiled and to that effect HMD mentioned that it will start small, and will be releasing more Android handsets throughout 2017, so the eventual Nokia flagship might come at a later date, but we guess a lot of the future HMD plans will be revealed come MWC time anyway, so stay tuned for more updates on any Nokia branded Android phones.
