Nokia Licensee HMD Global’s Nokia 9 device has seen its share of leaks in the past and this new one comes suggesting that the finish-based company is getting ready to do away with the 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
According to the report, the upcoming Nokia 9 handset will not sport the smartphone standard 3.5mm Headphone jack that we are all used to. Exactly what prompted this move is still unknown to us. Whether or not this move will jeopardize the success of the handset, we really don’t care.
Apart from that, the new renders are also tipping that the handset will come with a curved display and a dual rear camera configuration, thereby confirming previous reports.
Some newly revealed models of the Nokia 9 smartphone is also claiming that the handset may bring a glass finish at the back, similar to what rolled out with the iPhone 8 series.
The handset is also likely to come out with a fingerprint sensor at the back console as per latest reports.
The leaks are also tipping antenna bands on the side consoles instead of the back of the handset. What’s more, the right panel of the handset is also seen bearing both power and volume controls.
Based on preliminary leaks, the allege Nokia 9 device will be offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. Other key specifications of the handset include IP68 certification and 128GB internal memory space.
Coming to price, the rumored Nokia 9 is expected to come at a starting price of EUR750 that will apparently compete with the likes of Samsung and Apple.
