Nokia 8 Users Can Now Download the Android Oreo Beta Testing Build

Google’s Android 8.0 Oreo which is the next best OS on Android devices has only made it to few flagship handsets that saw a launch recently. The OS is still fresh and most Android users can’t wait to experience all the brilliantly cool features it has to offer.

Talking about the Nokia 8 users, HMD Global has reportedly unfolded a new Nokia phones beta labs that allow users to sign up and get the opportunity to receive the beta build of Android Oreo for Nokia 8.

In another report, the Nokia 8 device is tipped to roll out with not only Android Oreo but also Google’s next major mobile OS, named Android P. Handset’s like Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are also expected to join the Oreo beta testing list as soon as possible.

For those looking to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update on their Android device can visit the Nokia phone beta labs page, and sign up via Google account. Users will be asked to register with their IMEI numbers and other important details.

After going through all the necessary steps required, Nokia 8 users will get Android 8.0 Oreo OTA (over-the-air) update notification within 12 hours of registration.

As it turns out, the new beta test OS comes with a host of cool features like picture-in-picture, notification dots, Google Play Protect security scans, autofill passwords, and faster boot up.

Apart from that, the Oreo 8.0 also brings the latest October build Android security patch. Just a piece of advice, users might have to back up their files before attempting to install the new update.
