Chinese Electronics company LG, recently decided to unveil a mid-ranger X power2. The handset which is rumored to be made available sometime in March in Latin America first, is also said to be followed by US, Asia, Europe and other regions.
According to one report, the Pricing of the LG X power2 handset will vary depending on region. While the device features mediocre specifications and design, the main highlight of the handset is its huge battery.
While the exact pricing and availability of the handset is still unknown, LG has finally disclosed the key specifications of the X power2 device.
According to the patent, the handset sports a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) In-cell Touch Display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor. The device also comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, that is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
As per optics, the LG X power2 bears a 13-megapixel rear sensor with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera with soft-light LED flash for taking quality selfies. The handset also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and is expected to roll out in Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold, and Shiny Blue color options.
The biggest highlight of the handset which is 4500mAh battery is reportedly claimed to operate for an entire weekend without recharging. The LG X power2 smartphone weighs 164 grams, and measures 154.7×78.1×8.4mm.
As for connectivity options, the device packs 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, USB OTG, and gyroscope sensor. The handset is also expected to come with Google Assistant integration, a large display, and a dual camera setup at the back.
