Turing Robotic Industries (TRI) is an unpopular Finnish company based in the U.S recently made the announcement of a new smartphone called the Turing Phone Cadenza and it comes with insane specifications. With AI-based software improving and becoming more powerful the devices needed to run them will require more computing power.
In a TRI newsletter, CEO & Chief Architect Steve YL Chao says “TRI is embarking on another challenge to build the unimaginable…TRI is able to pivot efficiently and create something as extraordinary as the Turing Phone Cadenza. It is our belief that we can disrupt the status quo by bringing the Turing Phone Cadenza from the future to the present”.
From the killer specs, the TRI will not come with a single chipset but double Snapdragon 830 processors which is yet to be released from Qualcomm. Coupled with this, under its hood, there will be a whopping 12GB RAM consisting of two 6GB RAMs and an additional support of 8GB RAM. It boasts a massive 1 Terabyte internal storage and two microSD slots for further expansion.
Based on the display, it features a 5.8” with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The camera capacity is amazing as it sports a 60MP camera with iMAX 6K Quad Rear Camera, Triplet Lens/T1.2 on the back, and a 20MP dual-front facing the camera. In terms of the connectivity, there will be a quadruple 4G LTE nano SIM card slots and WiGig 60 GHz (1Gbps). Alongside, is a Qualcomm Bluetooth aptX audio and Marshall London Global Equalizer mounting the Cadenza.
The Cadenza will run on a new operating system called Swordfish OS, a forked version based on Sailfish OS. It is powered by triple batteries, 2400mAh Graphene Supercapacitor battery, 1600mAh Li-lon battery with Hydrogen fuel cell summing up to 100wh in power output.
It is surprising seeing this lightweight outer metal frame Cadenza boasting these heavy specs. The year 2017 has being touted as a possible release time, so let’s wait and see what TRI have in stock for us.
