Huawei’s Kirin 960 SoC to Power the Bluboo Dual

Not needing any introduction, Bluboo is taking the smartphone spectrum by surprise as they have geared up to release a new smartphone with the moniker Bluboo Dual. Rumors and information surrounding this handset have been up and about for a while now which has been giving us a picture of what to expect.

Previous information collected with regards to this device only pointed out the fact that the phone would be coming with a dual-camera set up at the back and a dual-edge display similar to the one featured on their Bluboo Edge, hence earning it is name, Bluboo Dual.


However, more news have showed up with regard to this handset and it has shaped up in a wat that has kept us edge seated since we got to hear about it. The phone has been rumored to come powered by the Kirin 960 SoC which can presently be termed as the best processor commercially available in the market.


The octa-core chipset comes in with just two clusters seeing one having 4 cortex A73 cores running at 2.4GHz where as another features 4 other Cortex A53 cores clocked at speeds of 1.8GHz. Also bundled up on this processor is support for LPDDR4 RAM, a Mali G-71 MP8 GPU and UFS2.1 Flash memory.

The Kirin 960 is currently powering Huawei’s very own Mate 9 handset and it was recently benchmarked showing its capabilities. This processor making an appearance in the Bluboo Dual would simply make it the fastest dual-camera smartphone commercially available once it goes official in the soon coming weeks.Kirin
