Ahead of Huawei’s October 16 event, where the company is expected to announce two alleged handsets dubbed Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, some new details about both smartphones have surfaced online.
According to one report, the company is said to bring the handset in three versions namely: Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Lite.
As it turns out, the regular and the Lite models of the handset has seen their own share of leaks and renders. The Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, on the other hand, have been spotted online bearing what might be the actual prices of the handsets.
Starting with the Huawei Mate 10, the leaked images are suggesting that we might see the handset come with narrow bezels on the top and bottom of the display panel at the front area.
Also, we don’t see the Home button on the Mate 10 Pro, unlike the regular version, that comes with one placed beneath the display panel.
Based on preliminary leaks, both versions of the Mate were tipped to sport “EntireView” displays tagged with 18:9 aspect ratio. However, it’s only the regular model’s screen size that is touted to come with a 5.99-inch QHD (1440×2880) display.
Moving on to pricing, the Mate 10 handset is said to launch in three versions including 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, and 6GB RAM/256GB storage. All three handsets are to be priced at CNY 4,299 CNY 4,899 and CNY 5,599 respectively.
The Mate 10 Pro device, on the other hand, is expected to be offered in four variants including 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/256GB storage, and 8GB RAM/256GB storage — all of which will be priced at CNY 5,499 CNY 6,199, CNY 6,899 and CNY 7,499 respectively.
