Taiwanese consumer electronics, HTC is still looking to fortify its lineup of flagship handsets before the year runs out. According to the latest news, the company has sent media invites to a special event expected to take place in Taiwan on the 2nd of November 2.
On that day, the company will release a brand-new version of the U11 flagship device that was earlier launched this year
Two variants of the U11 device are expected to be unveiled, namely, HTC U11 Plus, and U11 Life. The HTC U11 will pack an improved processor and other hardware features while the HTC U11 life, which is an ordinary mid-range handset will bring pure Android software.
Coming to the HTC U11 Life, the handset is tipped to come with a 5.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 630 SoC, and 16-megapixel camera sensors on front and back sections.
The handset will see two version, with one bearing 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, while the other will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of an onboard storage unit. It will be sold at a price of $400.
In regards to the U11 Plus, the handset will offer a 6-inch display tagged with a screen resolution of 1440×2880 pixels, which automatically reads, 18:9 aspect ratio.
Sporting a near-bezel less design, the handset packs Snapdragon 835 SoC, a 12-megapixel rear camera, and IP68 certified body.
Much like the HTC U11 Life, the U11 Plus is also said to come bearing two options, including 4GB RAM/64GB of inherent storage and 6GB RAM/128GB of internal memory space.
