Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei, has just concluded with the launch of the flagship V9 in China. The company which has done as promised earlier also released the Honor 8 Lite alongside the V9 handset in the local market.
The Honor V9 handset is expected to roll out in two storage variants – 64GB model priced at CNY 2,999 and a 128GB version for with no price tag yet. Interested smartphone buyers, can pre-book the Honor V9 device with the smartphone expected to start shipping from February 28.
As per specs, the flagship Honour V9 sports a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) LTPS LCD display. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 12-megapixel dual-cameras with f/2.2. The rear camera also comes with a support functionality for laser autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording. At the front area, the Honor V9 handset bears an 8-megapixel f/2.0 camera and also supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card.

Similar to the company’s other premium handsets, the Honor V9 is powered by Kirin 960 (4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz plus 4 Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4GHz) equipped with 6GB of RAM speed.
The device runs on the company’s own EMUI 5.0 based on Android’s 7.0 Nougat and also packs a support feature for a hybrid dual-SIM slot which automatically means that a user will have to choose between using two SIM cards or a microSD card. It houses a 4000mAh battery.
