One market many manufacturers are continuously showing interest in is that of the smartwatch as we have seen over the past few years the rapid growth in technologies and specifications this wearable spectrum has accumulated for itself.
Manufacturers like Zeblaze — who now has a handful of watches under them with the best amongst the bunch being the Cosmos and the MiniWear – have undoubtedly made their presence known in the market along with other smartwatch manufacturers.
Following closely to the MiniWear from Zeblaze is another smartwatch from the Shenzhen KCT Intelligence Technology Co. LTD dubbed DM88. This OEM has been in the business of wearables since 2008 and the experience which they have accumulated over the years can be seen in their smartwatch.
The DM88 is the true definition of beauty and the beast, it’s somewhat eye catchy with premium leather bands and a finely curved circular body whereas on the inside it carries in it lethal specs to keep it up to standards and it also comes in portable with a width of 1.77 inches whilst weighing in at 0.055Kg.
The wearable comes in with a 1.2inch IPS touchscreen which has a resolution of 240 x 240 Pixels. To give you enough time to use this watch, the manufacturer has fitted it with a 320mAh Li-ion battery pack which charges up to its fullest within 2 hours and can stay on standby for 14 days.
The wrist-worn device is being powered by the MTK2502 processor under the hood alongside an internal storage space of 128MB and a 64MB RAM. It is also graced with Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 which you can use to pair with your smartphone and use the device to take care of some operations.
The DM88 also runs across both the Android platform and the iOS as it supports the Android 4.3 OS and anything above it or if you are more fruity minded, then it works for iOS 7.0 or any newer version. Apart from being able to choose from different platforms, you would also get three color options which include Gold, Black and silver.
That’s not all that the smartwatch has to offer though as it also has varieties of languages to choose from based on the users nationality; there’s also an IP53 water-proofing certification.
Although all these seem pretty cool, that doesn’t put the cherry atop the pie just yet as there are a few niche features the DM88 also promises some of which include its remote camera alongside other functions and sensors, including a pedometer, calendar, recorder, sleeping monitor, heart rate monitor, calculator and anti-lost amongst the many others.
It is clear though that the audience the folks over at Shenzhen KCT Intelligence Technology Co. LTD, were aiming at are at the male table; so if you find the device enticing enough, you can head over to GearBest where’s need to shell out $49.99 to own one.
