Waiting for your next Android action gaming fix? Look no further than Ramboat (yeah it’s close enough), an intense arcade racing shooter developed by Genera Games.
The character you play is Mambo, obviously inspired by Stallone’s Rambo, and you have but one goal in the game – to escape. But its not going to be easy while you’re under attack from all sides, and you’re going to have to fight your way through, or die trying.
The game features very simple and intuitive controls and interesting mechanics. You have to touch the screen to speed up your boat, release it to brake and slow down, swipe up to jump and swipe down to dive. Shooting is automatic as soon as a target is in range, so you basically have to maneuver your way through incoming fire and take down anyone getting in your way.
You get to wield a ton of fun weapons in the game including rocket launchers, homing missiles, machine guns and flamethrowers. Naturally, power ups, rewards and coins are also part of the deal and can be picked up along the way.
Interestingly, Mambo is not the only character you will be playing with either. You can unlock and play with several other characters, complete with their own boats, including one called ‘Arnold’.
Game’s official features include:
- Classic action adventure arcade style with original twists
- 9 unique crew members- pirates, footballers, mafiosos, cyborgs, and even the mother of dragons!
- 11 powerful boats – race a luxury yacht, a submarine… or a hippo!
- Sick weapons – try the machine gun, rocket launcher, flamethrower, or classic pistol!
- Hit it big playing five card poker
