Coolpad Note 5 Lite Gets a 32GB Storage Variant in India

After launching the standard Coolpad version that brought along 16GB of inbuilt storage space, Coolpad appears to have unveiled another new variant of the handset.

This time around, the handset comes with a 32GB internal memory capacity and is set to go on sale in India. The handset is priced at Rs. 8,199, which apparently is the same price as the 16GB variant.

Coming to specs, the Note 5 Lite supports dual-SIM handset and runs Cool UI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The mid-range handset packs a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass IPS display tagged with a pixel density of 294ppi.

Powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP SoC paired with 3GB of RAM speed and a Mali 720 GPU, the handset comes with expandable storage up to 64GB.

In the camera department, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel rear sensor clubbed with dual-LED flash. In the front area, it sports an 8-megapixel camera coupled with LED flash.

Bearing a fingerprint sensor on the back console, the handset also offers support for USB OTG. The Dual-Sim device brings connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB.

It comes with onboard sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. Fitted with a 2500mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 200 hours of standby time. It weighs 148 grams and measures 145.3×72.3×8.7mm.
