Chinese smartphone maker TCL has added two new devices to its Business series namely the TCL 580 and the TCL 950. The former is a budget device while the latter is a high-end flagship, and here are the specs attributed to them.
The TCL 580 has a 5” HD super AMOLED display. It has an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor having eight Cortex-A53 core and clocked at 1.5GHz.
The device comes equipped with 13MP main camera with Sony IMX258 sensors and PDAF as well as LED flash and 5MP camera on the front.
It has a 3GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage with expandable storage of 64GB via micro SD card slot. Further, is a fingerprint scanner with 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and to be powered by a 2460mAh battery.
The TCL 950 features a 5.5” AMOLED display with 1080 pixels resolution relaxing on an all-metal body having 2.5D glass both on top of the display and at the back.
The entire device measures 153.6 × 75.4 × 6.99mm and weighs 165g. In terms of the hardware, there will be the high-end Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU.
To the camera end, the rear-facing camera is huge as it sports a 21MP with Sony IMX230 sensors, PDAF and LED flash for videos; and on the front, is an 8MP camera for selfies.
The phone has been added an extra touch with 3D laser engraving technology, and it comes with full network support including 4G, dual SIM slots, NFC support, USB Type-C interface, fingerprint scanner. There is also Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box running on a respectable battery size of 3000mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charge support.
Both devices will come in a gold and silver colour variants, and sales are said to begin in China soon. The TCL 580 has a price tag of 1399 Yuan ($210), while the TCL 950 is 3299 Yuan ($495).
