It is no news that the Oppo R9 series of devices was the most love smartphones for 2016 and one of the reasons why this smartphone was widely loved was its selfie capabilities and niche functionalities. Well, after being a success, this OEM, has deemed it fit to grace this handset with a successor, which will be called the Oppo R11.
News and around this handset has been up and about for quite some time now, and everything being said is just shaping this handset out to be the dream device of 2017. Now putting all our unsureness to rest is a benchmarking result from AnTuTu which has given us a glimpse of the innings for this upcoming beauty.
Qualcomm recently announced their newest mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 660, and Oppo seems to waste no time in getting this chipset under the hood of one of their smartphones, with the lick one being the Oppo R11 as revealed by the AnTuTu results. This SoC will be backed by an Adreno 512GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space.
The handset will sport a 5.5 inch Full HD touchscreen display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Now to the interesting part which is the camera sensors, the folks over at Oppo have fixed a 20MP sensor above the display for selfies whereas on the back panel, there is a dual 20MP + 20MP main camera present.
The Oppo R11 will be running the Android Nougat 7.1 operating system from the box. All these specs are nothing short of breathe taking for a handset heading over the mid-range market.
