It’s been a while since we reviewed and listed the best Android icon packs available on the Play Store, and while most of our older recommendations remain top choices, there are some really nice new icon packs available in 2019 and we are sharing our selection in this new article.
First things first, in order to install and use an icon pack on your Android phone or tablet you will need to install a third-party launcher app which supports icon packs. Two of the most popular Android launchers are Nova Launcher and Apex Launcher, which can be downloaded below.
Download a Launcher to Use Icon Packs
Now that you have selected and installed a launcher, let’s move on to take a look at some of the best free Android icon packs in 2019.
#1. Moonrise Icon Pack
Moonrise tops our list because of its stunningly designed vector based icons which reflect a beautiful mix of grey with a splash of color. The pack includes over 1,000 high-quality icons and most of the popular apps are covered.
Additionally, you get around 60 wallpaper choices, and with the right background, these icons really shine through. Try it for yourself.
#2. iUX 12 Icon Pack
This one is a bit of a personal choice. Since I am an iPhone user as well, I was curious to see how iOS icons look on Android and this icon pack does a fabulous job. This particular pack is vibrant and high-quality and brings iOS 12 icons to your Android phone or tablet, including the phone, contacts, messages, camera, gallery and calendar icons.
#3. Viral Icon Pack
This probably deserves to be higher on the list, but coming in at number 3 is the Viral icon pack, which truly stands out among the scores of icon packs which mostly look the same.
The icons are beautifully designed and sport a vintage look with an equally unique color palette. This may not remain your daily-driver for long, but coupled with over 200 wallpapers, it transforms your phone every time you use it.
#4. H20 Icon Pack
The H2O icon pack comes with beautiful, minimal yet colorful icons which give your display a fresh look. The design is inspired by Oxygen OS and the pack comes with a bunch of alternate icons for popular apps, allowing you to manually set some icons according to your preferences.
#5. OxyPie Icon Pack
Just like the H20 pack, the OxyPie icon pack has a fresh, colorful look with over 4,000 unique, circular icons inspired by Android Pie and Oxygen OS. If you like the overall theme here, you can alternate between H20 and OxyPie to switch been square and circle icons.
#6. CandyCons Icon Pack
Another funky, colorful icon pack, CandyCons focuses on Google’s material design guidelines and comes with over 1,000 icons and several wallpapers. Color variants for certain icons are also supported.
#7. Lines Icon Pack
Lines icon pack is perfect for a break from all the colorful icons. Very minimal white lines make up all the icons in this pack and it even comes with supporting wallpapers and a clock widget to go with it. One notable thing about this icon pack is that it makes your wallpaper all the more prominent and is perfect for darker wallpapers.
#8. Glim Flat Icon Pack
Flat design is still in vogue and the Glim icon pack is a good example of that. Soft shadows and a clear, material design color palette are the distinguishing features of this icon pack, which also has color variations for most popular icons.
#9. Pixel Pie Icon Pack
Another take on round, colorful icons, the Pixel Pie icon pack comes with a whopping 6,000 different icons inspired by flat design, bold colors, and round shapes. All icons are high definition and the pack comes with some wallpapers as well.
#10. Cleandroid UI Icon Pack
As the name suggests, Cleandroid icon pack sports minimally designed icons going for a clean, unobtrusive look. The icons are clearly inspired from iOS and MIUI themes and the pack comes with over 2,900 icons. Icon masking is also supported for unthemed icons and most launchers are supported.
