ZTE has been quite busy in this Q1 of 2017 as we have seen them expose a boatload of handsets already. The recently concluded Mobile World Congress played host to two of their handsets, the ZTE Blade V8 mini and ZTE Blade V8 Lite and early this year at the CES, the launched the ZTE Blade V8.
After being launched in Europe, it actually saw a good season in the market as it was loved by the audience. Now the folks over at ZTE has just made the ZTE Blade V8 in the shores of China with the price tag of just ¥1499.
This new comer to the Chinese market bring in new specifications to the table as it comes in with much crispier details than when it launched off at the CES 2017 ground. Part of these awesome additions is the box it comes with which has been modified to also act as a VR headset which we must say is a niche implementation.
A recap on the specs sheet of this handset includes a 5.2 inch Full HD touchscreen display which has a physical home button located below it. This home button also comes embedded with a fingerprint scanner for obvious purposes.
Above the crispy display is a 13Mpix shooter which should do justice to all your selfies and video calling apps as well. This sensor accompanies a main Dual camera at the back panel which comprises of 13MP Sony IMX258 primary sensor and a 2MP secondary snapper.
Under the hood, the V8 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 SoC and it is aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM, expandable to an additional 256GB thanks to the addition of the microSD card slot. There is a non-removable 2730mAhof battery juice powering the handset.
As of now, the ZTE Blade V8 is up for the grabs at various online stores with two color variants of Silver and Dark Grey all of which look pretty cool on the smartphone.
