Just last month we saw the release of the ZTE Small Fresh 5, and now, the company seems to have added another handset to its Blade series.
ZTE has launched the Blade V7 Plus handset with the fingerprint scanner as it the major highlight. As of now, there is still no pricing details for the handset.
To refresh, the ZTE Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite saw a release at the MWC 2016. This year, however, the Blade V8 model saw a launch at CES and MWC.
Surprisingly, ZTE has backtracked a little bit with the unveiling of the V7 Plus with upgraded specifications.
In regards to the specifications, the ZTE Blade V7 Plus runs the old Android 6.0 Marshmallow whilst packing hybrid dual-SIM slot. The handset bears a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D glass for protection.
Powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core Cortex-A53 processor coupled with Mali-T720 MP3 and 2GB of RAM, the handset brings 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 32GB).
Talking about optics, the ZTE Blade V7 Plus packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash support and PDAF.
At the front area, it comes with a 5-megapixel sensor for taking quality selfies and video chats. The handset offers a 2500mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and 220 hours of standby time.
In line with connectivity options, the phone comes with GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and LTE. It measures 148x72x7.5mm and weighs 143 grams.
