Following the unveiling of the Flash X Plus that occurred last month, Zopo has now reportedly launched another handset in India, called the Zopo Color X 5.5.
Notably, the Zopo Color X 5.5 is an addition to the company’s Color range, and is priced at Rs. 11,999. The handset is expected to be made available in major retail stores across the country starting from April 20.
The metal bodied handset offers a fingerprint scanner engrafted underneath the Home Button. The Zopo Color X 5.5 rolls out in Charcoal Black, Royale Gold, Orchid Gold, and Space Grey color options.
The device’s volume and power buttons are seated on the right edge and the speaker grille occupies the bottom edge of the handset.
In terms of specifications, the Zopo Color X 5.5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based CoolUI 8.0 out-of-the-box and supports dual-SIM slots. It bears a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with 267ppi pixel density and is powered by the 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor equipped with 3GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.
The device also comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 64GB).
As for optics, the Zopo Color X 5.5 bears an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. At front, the handset comes with a 5-megapixel sensor with LED flash support as well.
Also, the handset comes with a beauty mode in the camera application to improve selfies further. The handset also sports a 500mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 300 hours of standby time and 6 hours of talk time.
The smartphone measures 155×77.8×8.7mm, and weighs 166 grams. It packs connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
