As latest reports go, Yu Yureka 2, a subsidiary of Micromax, has just concluded with the launch of an entry level handset dubbed the Yu Yureka 2.
Adding to the Yu Yureka series, the handset comes in as the company’s latest handset since it released the Yu Yureka Black in June.
As it turns out, the handset is expected to go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting from September 20. The handset highlights a metal body, 5.5-inch full-HD display, 2.5D glass, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM.
Apart from that, the device also highlights a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel camera at the front, a fingerprint sensor, a 3930mAh battery, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
As per price, the phone can be purchased at a price of Rs. 11,999, and is expected to go on sale from September 20, exclusively via Flipkart as previously mentioned.
Coming to specification, the dual-SIM Yu Yureka 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display.
The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and offers a 16-megapixel rear camera tagged with dual-LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
In the storage department, the handset brings 64GB of internal storage, with an option to expand via microSD card (up to 128GB).
As per connectivity options the handset packs 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB.
It also comes with onboard sensors including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The device is backed by a 3930mAh battery that the company claims support Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
