After the introduction of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 handset, which has seen its share of leaks since the beginning of this year, a fresh report just surfaced online claiming that the handset will likely be launched before the end of this month.
In a separate news, it was rumoured that the handset will likely be powered by an Helio P25 processor instead of a Snapdragon 660 SoC, which was initially hinted in previous leaks.
Furthermore, the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Redmi Pro is expected to land later this month and will feature the same dual-camera configuration as its predecessor.
In line with specs, one rumor has it that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 handset will come with MediaTek Helio P25 processor instead of the yet to be announced Snapdragon 660, that was seen in previous leaks. Another rumour is claiming that the handset might roll out with two 12-megapixel sensors on the back.
Based on preliminary leaks, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is expected to pack a 2.5D curved glass and will roll out in 4GB of RAM/64GB of internal storage and 6GB RAM/128GB built-in storage variants.
According to one rumour, the 4GB RAM model is expected to be priced at CNY 1,599, while the 6GB RAM version will likely go for CNY 1,799.
As far as we know, there is still no comment from the company regarding all these rumours. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you take this information with a pinch of salt.
