We’ve Seen the specification of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 handset in different leaks in the past, but now its model has also appeared online revealing key details about the handset. The Redmi Note 5A’s handset’s specs have seen a leak online, alongside its retail box, tipping an imminent launch.
The Redmi Note 5A, however, will presumably be the lesser premium version of the Redmi Note 5 handset, whenever it lands.
According to one leak, the Redmi Note 5A will pack a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display and be powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The handset sports an internal storage of 64GB, though there is no clarity on whether or not it will come with an expandable storage or not.
The handset is also said to come with a dual camera configuration at the back – one 12-megapixel OV12A10 sensor and another 13-megapixel OV12880 sensor.
One of the sensors captures telephoto while the other takes wide-angle shots. At the front area, the handset is said to come with a 5-megapixel Samsung S5K5E8 sensor for video chats and selfies.
As of now, there is no regarding the launch details of the handset, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has also been leaked previously.
The handset is rumored to be priced at $200 and run on the upcoming MIUI 9, whilst sporting a 5.5-inch full-HD display.
The handset will also be powered by the Snapdragon 630 SoC, and be offered in two RAM and storage variants – 3GB/ 32GB and 4GB/ 64GB – coupled with Adreno 508 GPU for graphics.
