Xiaomi has been on a roll lately, as the Chinese company has launched quite a good number of handsets from the beginning of this year.
As latest reports would have it, the company seems to be getting ready to launch Redmi Note 5A Prime handset that saw a lunch in the company’s home market.
The alleged handset has surfaced online, hinting at what might be an imminent launch of the device anytime from now.
If the reports are to be believed, then Xiaomi indeed will bring the Redmi Note 5A Prime in the US. Interestingly, it is going to be the company’s first smartphone to be released in the US market.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime was released sometime back in August and now the handset is set to hit the US consumers.
Coming to specs, the handset runs the latest MIUI 9 OS and comes with support for SIM slots paired with a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion.
The handset packs a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU.
Talking about optics, the mobile device bears a 16-megapixel 76-degree wide-angle sensor paired with a soft light flash, f/2.0 aperture, and real-time beauty features.
Separately, the company is already making a name for its Android TV set-top boxes in the US. As of November 2016, the company reportedly claimed that it carrying out network tests to ensure its handsets work well with US telecom carriers. Xiaomi is still yet to confirm some of these stories, so we strongly recommend that you read with a pinch of salt.
