Following the launch of Xiaomi’s Remi 3S and 3S prime that got so many positive feedbacks from smartphone buyers, as it was rapidly purchased until it went out of stock – it seems as though the Chinese manufacturers have put up the Xiaomi’s Redmi 3s and the 3S Prime up for sale once again.
The two smartphones are priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 8,999 respectively, and are amongst the best handsets one can buy in that range.
Both handset devices are quite similar in terms of specs, design and overall form, but the 3S Prime features a larger-sized RAM and storage capacity, as well as a fingerprint sensor. The two smartphones were released in last year’s August in India.
As per specs, both handsets come with a metal body design and feature a 5-inch 720p display. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, both handsets also house a 4100mAh battery, which is the same battery capacity that came with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
At the back area, the devices bear a 13MP primary camera with PDAF, while at the front they both come with a 5MP selfie shooter. Both handsets also run on Android Marshmallow v6.0 and sport a hybrid SIM slot.
The Redmi 3s packs 2GB of RAM speed and 16GB of built-in storage, while the 3S Prime features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphones rolled out in Gold, Grey and Dark Grey colour options.
