Last week, a listing of Xiaomi’s Mi Max 2 handset revealed that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. Going by a new leak, however, the smartphone has been tipped to offer two RAM/SoC variants.
This new leak claims that the handset will roll out in variants 4GB RAM + Snapdragon 626 SoC and 6GB RAM + Snapdragon 660 SoC, both devices to be priced between CNY 1,499 and CNY 1,699 respectively.
Going by recent leaks, Xiaomi’s Mi Max 2 will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and feature a 6.44-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display.
The handset is expected to be fitted with a large capacity 5000mAh battery.
As per optics, the handset is claimed to come with a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor and a 5-megapixel camera at front for selfies.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also rumored to unveil sometime in May.
In a separate news, Xiaomi also announced its plans to launch the Mi 6 handset this year as well.
Going by press renders, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is likely to sport a 5.1-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC.
The handset is also expected to feature either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It is tipped to come with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage as well.
As for optics, Xiaomi Mi 6 is said offer a 12-megapixel rear camera with 4K video recording and an 8-megapixel front camera that can record 4K videos as well.
