Going by latest rumors, Xiaomi just concluded with the launch of its Mi 6 device at an event in Beijing on April 19. Prior to that, it was rumored that the China-based electronics consumers would push out the Mi Max 2 alongside the Mi 6 device — but apparently, that did not happen.
To recall, the Mi Max 2 is rumored to come with a large 6.44-inch display, 6GB of RAM, and a massive 5000mAh battery. Also, one report claims that the Mi Note 3 handset could arrive soon.
As per specs for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, the handset will be likely offered in two variants – 4GB RAM + Snapdragon 626 SoC and 6GB RAM + Snapdragon 660 SoC. Both variants are expected to be priced at CNY 1,499 and CNY 1,699 respectively.
Further, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and feature a 6.44-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The handset is also expected to be fitted with a large capacity 5000mAh battery.
As per optics, the handset is tipped to bear a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor and a 5-megapixel camera at front. Based on earlier leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is expected to be unveiled by the company sometime in May.
In a separate news, the Mi Note 3 handset is rumored to arrive sometime in the second quarter of this year. The phone is rumored to come with a 5.7-inch display and be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM.
Rumored to offer 128GB and 256GB internal storage options, the Mi Note 3 is also touted to feature a dual camera setup at the back, and house a 4070mAh battery.
