Following a spate of rumours that has revealed the specification, form and overall design of the Xiaomi Mi 6 device, it seems has though more rumours are raining down as ever. According to one report, the handset will be unveiled next month on the 16th of April.
Going by another latest rumour that surfaced online also further suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 6 handset will be the first Chinese smartphone device to roll out with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC.
Apart from the launch date, the patent also disclosed that the processor on the Xiaomi Mi 6 handset will not be underclocked compared to previously launched flagship smartphones by the company. Other leaked details regarding the handset also include a 5.2-inch LCD display with 2.5D glass and a ceramic version.
Interestingly enough, one patent shows that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will sport a camera similar to that on the newly launched Xperia XZ Premium handset. The Xperia XZ Premium sports a 19-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s new Motion Eye camera system which provides 5x faster image scanning and data transfer.
Going by previous leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone is expected to unveil with 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage option. The Mi 6 handset has also been tipped to come with a dual rear camera setup but the details are limited as of now.
The smartphone is also expected to sport Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology for fast charging support. The mobile device is tipped to pack a 4000mAh battery and be priced at around CNY 2,499.
