Ahead of the recently confirmed launch date of Xiaomi’s Mi 5X handset, more rumors about the device seem to have surfaced online.
Going by previous reports, the handset is said to be unveiled on the 26th of July. Remarkably, registrations for the first sale has been seen to be over 200,000 in just 24 hours.
Apart from that, the handset has now been spotted on FCC certification site, bringing us some key battery specifications of the handset.
Previously rumored to be the premium version of the Xiaomi Mi 5, the device has been cleared on FCC. Going by the listing, the Xiaomi Mi 5X will come packing a 3000mAh Li-Po battery and a USBType-C cable tagged with a 10W adapter for charging support.
Bearing ca dual rear camera configuration, Xiaomi 5X packs a fingerprint scanner at the rear end, and runs on MIUI 9, based on Xiaomi’s custom Android ROM.
The handset is tipped to include a 5.5-inch full-HD display, a Snapdragon 625 SoC, and 4GB of RAM. Sporting an optical zoom feature, apart from dual-tone LED flash, the handset will be offered in three color versions – Black, Gold, and Rose Gold (Pink).
According to one report, the handset is said to be sold for a starting price of, which notably, was also seen as the starting price of the Xiaomi Mi 5s.
Coming to the design, the Xiaomi Mi 5X seems to be a lot alike with the iPhone 7 Plus considering the positioning of it dual camera configuration as well as it antenna bands.
