Earlier this year, the folks over at Xiaomi officially launched a new smartphone which they tagged with the moniker Xiaomi Redmi 4X. When the phone went official, it was only made available in two different memory variants which included 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM.
Now, however, this Chinese giant has introduced another new handset memory variant which will see interested users being able to buy the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM version of the Xiaomi Redmi 4x for a higher price tag of $159. Asides from the new memory configuration and change in price, everything else on the outside and inside still remains pretty much the same.
The Redmi 4X has an all metal finish which firmly holds in place a 5 inch HD touchscreen display with a 720P resolution. This screen is protected by a 2.5D curved glass protecting it against scratches and other unexpected occurrences.
Ticking under the hood is an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 435 processor. Keeping the lights of the display on for many hours is a massive 4000mAh battery pack that will definitely keep your piston fingers thumping for many hours.
Even with the large battery pack crammed on its back panel, the handset still remains quite compact with a 5 inch display. Above this screen is seated a 5MP selfie snapper that is accompanying an even better 13MP shooter on the back panel of the phone.
Also appearing on the back panel is a fingerprint scanner and an LED flashlight to aid the camera and brighten up low lighted places. The Xiaomi Redmi 4X is made available in three different color variants that include Cherry Blossom, Matte Black and Champagne gold, all of which look pretty awesome on the well-crafted metal chassis.
