We’ve all been waiting for the unveiling of Vivo’s X9s and X9s Plus handset, well, it seems like the company has finally rolled out the handset to the Chinese market.
The handsets come with some highlights including a dual selfie camera configuration and a custom ROM based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus are priced at CNY 2,698 and CNY 2,998 respectively.
To begin with, the Vivo X9s runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based on FunTouch OS 3.1 and comes with support for a dual-SIM slot.
It packs a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 652 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The handset brings 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card. As per optics, the rear camera bears a 16-megapixel sensor with LED flash and PDAF.
The handset highlights a dual selfie camera configuration with a primary 20-megapixel sensor and secondary 5-megapixel front camera to capture depth tagged with soft-LED flash.
The Vivo X9s houses a 3320mAh battery with fast charging and rolls out with connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, Micro USB, USB OTG, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Vivo X9s measures 152.6x74x6.99mm, and the handset weighs 154 grams. The Vivo X9s Plus, on the hand, is slightly larger and is tagged a 5.85-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display.
Powered by a Snapdragon 653 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM, the phone is fitted with a 4015mAh and supports fast charging. The phone measures at 162.59×78.84×7.25mm.
