Going by latest reports, Vivo has started sending out invitations for its big event that is expected to take place on the 21st of September.
On that day, we are expecting the company to showcase a new smartphone called Vivo X20 which recently popped up on the internet.
Launching alongside the Vivo X20 handset is the Vivo X20 Plus that was previously seen in leaks as well. As rumors would have it, the handset’s specs have been released and it is said to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC.
First talking about the launch invite, shared by Android Pure, the image suggests that the handset will feature the same near bezel-less design as could be seen in earlier leaks.
Expected to sport a fingerprint sensor at the back area, the upcoming Vivo X20 handset is also tipped to offer dual camera configuration similar to the one on Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus device. What’s more, the handset is also reportedly suggested run on Google’s Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Based on preliminary leaks, the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus smartphone will come packing a 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) displays respectively.
Fitted with 3500mAhh batteries, both handsets will bring 6GB of RAM and pack 128GG of an internal storage unit.
Coming to optics, the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus handset will come bearing 24-megapixel front cameras. Separately, one report also makes mention that Vivo’s X20 will likely see an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
We recommend that you take this news with a pinch of salt, considering that the company barely confirmed few of the reports in here.
