Talking about latest news, the Vivo V5 Plus that was launched in India almost six months ago is reportedly discovered to have now sustained a price cut.
Initially, the handset was made available at a price of Rs. 27,980, and now, both the Vivo V5 Plus and the Vivo V5 Plus IPL Limited Edition can be bought for as low as Rs. 22,990 on Flipkart.
While new reports have affirmed that the variant’s price has been cut in India, we are still to reveal if the new prices will eventually become permanent or just be for a short while.
To refresh, the Vivo V5 Plus is a dual-SIM handset, that runs the company’s Funtouch OS 3.0, customized on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM, the device comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display.
The handset also highlights a dual front camera configuration that includes a 20-megapixel camera tagged with the Sony IMX376 1/2.78-inch sensor, a f/2.0 aperture, and a 5P lens system. It also bears an 8-megapixel camera designed to capture depth-of-field information.
Coming to the rear section, the Vivo V5 Plus packs a 16-megapixel sensor tagged with LED flash. The company touts the bokeh effect that is captured by the front camera, and a 20-megapixel camera that captures detailed selfies, even under low-light conditions.
Offering 64GB of internal storage that’s non-expandable, the handset is fitted with a 3055mAh battery. It measures 152.8×74.00×7.26 mm and weighs 158.6 grams. As per connectivity options, it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, to name a few.
