Chinese start-up UMi has teased us with its device, the Max model. The smartphone garnered much hype prior to its release, and the marketing PR stated that “the new flagship comes with a perfect balance between quality materials, elegant design, optimized performance, and high-level aesthetics”.
Being a high-end device for people with exclusive taste, it has been touted to take on iPhone 6s in terms of battery and certain other features. Having released battery test results in which the UMi Max was matched against the iPhone 6s, there were some amazing results after a series of activities which we normally engage our phones with, and they are as follows:
- Music- 60 minutes
- Twitter- 60 minutes
- Internet browsing- 30 minutes
- Phone calls- 30 minutes
- Playing games- 30 minutes
- Reading E-books- 30 minutes
- Videos- 30 minutes
- Chatting- 15 minutes
- Photo shooting- 15 minutes
After all the above-listed activities were carried out, the iPhone 6s had a lesser 35% charge left compared to the UMi Max that had an average 50% left. This is a proof that UMi is hell bent to convince the populace that its UMi Max stands out in terms of battery longevity and performs better than the iPhone 6s, which is a top-end device.
Well, that is not all we have for you and recently UMi brand posted a video shedding light on the features of the smartphone which can be seen in the video below.
A reminder of the specifications includes a 5.5” 2.5D display from SHARP, equipped with an Helio P10 chipset along with 3GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.
