Within the next few weeks, we will be seeing the Nubia Z17 go live. Already, we have been seeing this smartphone make rounds online and it’s all thanks to the Android Nougat 7.1.1 OS it runs out of the box, its bezel-less display and the Snapdragon 835 processor ticking under its hood.
However, even though it seems like we already know almost everything about this handset, there is one major detail which was left. The upcoming bezel-less Nubia Z17 flagship smartphone will also be graced with the IP68 waterproof and dustproof certificate.
This new capability was revealed in a short video where the Nubia Z17 was placed in a sink with the tap left running. This handset was put in with its display on and even when fully immersed in water, the smartphone seemed to be operational and the screen still remained crystal clear.
However, there is no real confirmation that this handset is the expected Nubia Z17 but its look coupled up with the descriptions revealed by the manufacturers themselves makes us believe it is. Nonetheless, be sure to treat this information with the proverbial grain of salt.
The handset recently made an appearance on AnTuTu and made its way through TENAA some few days ago too. Both of this places revealed the specs of this device which will include a large 8GB RAM variant being coupled up with the monstrosity of a Snapdragon 835 flagship processor.
Another nice addition is the inclusion of the trending dual camera on the back panel. These camera sensors comprises of a 23MP primary camera sensor coupled up with a 12MP secondary shooter.
