Huawei seems have started off this year on the right foot as we just heard them dish out news with regards to the Lite version of the already launched Huawei Honor 8 making an appearance at the MWC 2017 which is just a stone throw away.
Before this news could even be digested, another Lite version of one of their soon to launch smartphone has just been spotted over at Geek Bench. The said smartphone is the Huawei P10 Lite and as the “lite” suffix suggests, it would be expected to go official with specs lower than that of the upcoming Huawei P10 flagship smartphone.
The device has the model number Huawei-WAS LX1A and it would be powered by the octa-core Kirin 655 processor running at speeds of 1.7GHz. This SoC is aided by 4GB of RAM and this combination scored this device 779 points for a single core test whereas for the multiple core test, the Huawei P10 Lite scored 3023 points.
The handset come with the Android Nougat 7.0 OS installed and should have a USB Type-C charging port as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. Other specification like if the device would also feature a dual camera at the back panel still remains uncertain as we might see Huawei trying as much as they can to cut off unnecessary expenses.
Other basic additions like a microSD card slot, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity are also thrown into the mix. A fingerprint scanner might also make the spec sheet but to be on the safe side just file that information under the rumors.
