The recently concluded Mobile World Congress 2017 looked to be a success as we saw it live up to expectation as many manufacturers took this opportunity to showcase their handsets and gadgets. Among the many that exploited this platform is the rising Giant Nokia who is slowing climbing up the ranks after having fallen from Grace to Grass.
This manufacturer took center stage to introduce quite a boat load of handset which as of now have won the hearts of the smartphone enthusiasts dispersed around the globe. Also added to the many handsets they unveiled is the legendary Nokia 3310 which has been upgraded and made even better.
However, although there are quite a lot of smartphone already registered under the Nokia brand name this year, none of them can be termed as a true flagship smartphone. Nonetheless, recent word has it that our wait for a true Nokia flagship smartphone might be shorter than we think as the OEM has just revealed information that they would be partnering with Carl Ziess for its imaging units for their next device.
Since lenses from Carl Ziess are usually aimed at handsets on the high end market, the rumors up and about with regards to a new Nokia flagship smartphone might just be true after all as the manufacturer themselves have confirmed works with them.
Also added to the rumors is that this upcoming beast would have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor ticking under the hood, a dual camera implementation on the back panel and a well-crafted all metal body. However, these are just rumors so we’d advice you to treat the above information with the proverbial pinch of salt.
