TENAA Plays Host To Two New Huawei Phones With Physical Keyboards

Whilst many see handset with physical keyboards as old fashioned, Huawei begs to differ as two of their devices with such keypads where just spotted making their way through TENAA the Chinese Certification Website, TENAA where their image and their innings where revealed.

We do not know if Huawei have set plans to keep shipping such devices but we know that they are from their R-series of devices as one is identified as Huawei R952 – which is the more powerful amongst the two – whereas the other is the Huawei R662.

Even though the R952 can be termed as the more powerful version, they both have a list of similarities in their specifications which includes their 2.4inch TFT displays which have resolutions of about 320 x 240 pixels.

As of now, it is not said of which chipset is powering this devices but we do know that it would be an octa-core processor running at a speed of 1.2GHz. They would both come in with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity that is expandable to 32GB via the addition of a microSD card.

The R952 is said to be more powerful as it is bigger in size having a dimension of 141.4 x 62.8 x 25.9mm whilst the other comes in with a size of 130.8 x 60 x 21mm. The difference is size is attributed to the battery pack as the R952 comes in with a large 3000mAh battery pack whilst the R662 features a 2000mAh cell.

Both battery juices with the specs listed can keep the device up and running for days upon a single charge. We are sure the price tag would also be way below the $100 margin but let us wait to hear from the manufacturers themselves.
