Talking about latest flagships, Sony just concluded with the release of the Xperia XZ1 handset in the Indian market. The handset was seen at the IFA 2017, bearing two major highlights including Android 8.0 Oreo and 3D scanning camera.
As it turns out, the Sony Xperia Z1 saw a global release alongside the Xperia XZ1 Compact and the Xperia XA1 Plus. That being said, the Indian market can also expect Sony’s Xperia Z1 Compact to be released soon.
Coming to the Sony Xperia XZ1, the handset is priced at Rs. 44,990, comes in a Black color variant and be on sale starting September 25 via offline and online stores.
As previously hinted, the new Sony Xperia XZ1 packs a MotionEye 19-megapixel Exmor RS sensor camera tagged with 3D scanning capabilities.
At the rear section, the handset comes with 5-axis stabilization and can capture slow-motion video recording at 960fps, as well as 4K video recording.
At the front area, the handset bears a 13-megapixel camera tagged with an aperture of f/2.0 and 22mm wide-angle lens.
Powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU, the dual-SIM handset also comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) HDR display powered by Sony’s Triluminos display and X-Reality feature for modern smartphones.
As per storage, the phone comes 64GB of internal memory space that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
Other connectivity options consist of 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and GPS. It comes with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the power button.
It is fitted with a 2700mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology, measures 148x73x7.4mm and weighs 156 grams.
