At the IFA 2017, Sony Electronics company showcased the Xperia XZ1 and since then we’ve been waiting for the release of the handset in India.
As the latest report goes, the handset has finally been pegged for the 25th of September and Sony has started sending out invites.
In the US market, the phone was rolled out at a price of $699.99, and we are expecting that the handset will come at a similar price when it finally reaches India.
According to one report, the company reportedly stated that it was going to push out the Sony Xperia XZ1 device with Android 8.0 Oreo.
One of the highlights of the Sony Xperia XZ1 is its MotionEye 19-megapixel Exmor RS sensor camera tagged with 3D scanning technology.
It has rear cameras that come with support functionality for 5-axis stabilization and can also be used to capture slow-motion video recording at 960fps as well 4K video recording.
At the front area, the handset will sport a 13-megapixel camera tagged with an aperture of f/2.0 and 22mm wide-angle lens for group selfies. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU.
It sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) that and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. In terms of storage, the Sony Xperia XZ1 brings 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). As per connectivity options, the phone comes with 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and GPS.
